Funding to undertake the initial steps in this process that will be the building blocks for the eventual organization (NuHealth) and education of the medical professionals providing health care to the region’ s minorities and poor. NuHealth seeks to improve and promote the clinical coordination of healthcare delivered by clinicians serving such underserved populations with the major safety net health care providers in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
